This dry Pinotage Rosé wine is another fine example of Dennis Horton's vision and continuing the tradition of pioneering new and different wine from Virginia. Intense color from a 10-day cold soak on the skins then pressed and 100% barrel aged for 6 months in Syrah barrels, aromas of clementine and pear blossoms lead to flavors of rhubarb and strawberry and a surprisingly hefty mid-palate balanced by firm acidity and a graceful finish. - A rosé built for red wine drinkers.
Pairs with Spicy Chicken Parmesan, pork bell tacos, or fine marinated skirt steak.
