Sept. 3 - Labor Day Wine & Music Fest - Amherst, VA.  Rebec Vineyards, 12pm - 6pm.   Enjoy the fruits of OUR labor!

 

Sept. 4 - Hoptoberfest - Culpeper, VA  Culpeper Renaissance Inc. (CRI) is proud to serve up the inaugural Hoptoberfest – a Gnarly Hops fall celebration. Hoptoberfest will take place on Sunday, September 4, 2016, from Noon – 5:00 PM in the Depot District in Downtown Culpeper. This event will feature live music, great local food, and in addition to great brews, regional wineries will be on-site. Break out your lederhosen and join us for a variety of craft beers and Virginia wines available in one place for you to sample.  You are sure to discover a new favorite.  Only a limited number of advanced tickets will be on sale, so get your tickets beginning July 15th...you won't want to miss Culpeper's Hoptoberfest, happening in Downtown Culpeper

 

Sept. 5 - Herndon Labor Day Festival - Herndon, VA.  Monday 11am - 5pm. Join us in downtown Herndon for great music, a craft show, food, eight wineries and micro-brews and culinary demonstrations.

 

Sept. 10 - Monticello's Heritage Harvest Festival - Monticello, VA  Sat. Thomas Jefferson championed vegetable cuisine, plant experimentation, and sustainable agriculture. The 10th Annual Heritage Harvest Festival, hosted by the Thomas Jefferson Foundation in partnership with Seed Savers Exchange and Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, celebrates Jefferson’s legacy in a fun, affordable, family-oriented, educational event promoting gardening, sustainability, local food, and the preservation of heritage plants.

The 2016 Heritage Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, September 10, at Monticello: on the West Lawn, in the vegetable garden, and in the LEED-certified Visitor Center. The venue provides a beautiful showcase for the restored gardens and features the wealth of Monticello’s programs in not just gardening, but also natural history, foodways, and the roles of the entire plantation community.

 

Sept. 10 - Concert For Life at DeVault Vineyards - Concord, VA.  12pm - 6pm.  DeVault Family Vineyards will host a benefit concert for Svet Kanev's kidney transplant.  This benefit concert will haelp raise $30,000 towards a kidney transplant and other costs for Svet Kanev, the owner of Rebec Vineyards.

 

Sept. 10 - Acca Shriners Red White and Brew Fest - Acca Temple, Richmond.  12pm - 5pm.  Music, Breweries, Wineries, Crafts, Food, and LOTS OF FUN!  Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 at the gate Rain or Shine. See ACCA Shrine Office or www.accashriners.com

 

Sept. 17 & 18 - Virginia Wine Festival - Bull Run Regional Park - Fairfax, VA. 11am - 6pm, Sat. & Sun. As the longest-running wine festival on the East Coast, the Virginia Wine Festival has become a Grand Commonwealth Tradition and a wine enthusiasts’ paradise.

 

Sept. 17 & 18 - Stratford Hall Wine and Oyster Festival - Stratford, VA.  Sat. 10am - 6pm, Sun. 10am - 5pm.  Visit Robert E. Lee's birthplace for this annual wine fest.  Family entertainment features Treakle’s Train barrel rides, hayrides, alpacas, a miniature farm animal collection, and Memory Lane Car Club show (classic car show Sunday only).

 

Sept. 24 & 25 - Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival - Crazy Horse Marina - Moneta, VA.  Sat. 11am - 6pm., Sun. 11am - 5pm.  Whether you are a wine lover or just tempting your taste buds, Virginia wines offer flavors and styles to please every palette. Winemakers will be on hand to answer wine-related questions and assist guests with their sampling. Enjoy a favorite or try something new. Sip a glass at the festival or take a bottle home. Bring your lawn chair, relax and enjoy CONTINUOUS LIVE MUSIC!

 

Sept. 24 - Festival of Grapes & Hops - Petersburg, VA.  11am - 5pm. Petersburg's Wine and Beer Tasting Festival.  Enjoy Virginia wines and beers the way they were meant to be tasted...with friends, music and great food! Gather your friends and bring them to charming Old Towne Petersburg for a day of sipping, swirling and fun.

 

Sept. 30 & Oct. 1 - Wine On The Beach - Ocean City, MD. The Inlet.  12pm - 7pm.  Welcome to the  annual Wine Fest at the beach featuring wineries from the East Coast of the United States. Micro-Brewed Beers, Delmarva Cuisine, Quality Arts and Crafts, and Local & Regional Live Music will be focal points of this year's event.

 

Oct. 1 - Yorktown Wine Festival - 12noon - 6pm - Yorktown, VA.  The Best of Virginia in Yorktown
Great Music, Food & Art Vendors & lots of fun at Historic Yorktown.  Dinner event: $75 per person includes 8 Virginia wines and 4 course dinner.  Dinner Event begins at 7:30PM

 

Oct. 7, 8 & 9 - Mount Vernon Fall Wine Festival - Mount Vernon, VA.  6pm - 9pm.  Join Mount Vernon in its rain-or-shine fall celebration of the history of the Virginia wine industry on the east lawn overlooking the Potomac River. Participants sample wines from award-winning Virginia wineries, learn about the successes and failures of our Founding Father’s wine endeavors, enjoy live blues, and meet “George Washington” on the Mansion's piazza.

 

Oct. 8 - Chesapeake Wine Festival - Chesapeake, VA.  12noon - 6pm.   Thousands will gather to enjoy wines not only from Virginia’s finest wineries, but from around the world – and along the way will taste the many foods from the regions best restaurants.  Live music from Lewis McGehee, Jesse Chong and friends will accompany the many wine and culinary celebrations.

 

Oct. 8 - Autumn Peak Festival - Massanutten Resort, VA.  11:30am - 5:30pm. Take a chairlift ride to the peak of Massanutten Mountain and see the Shenandoah Valley in the splendor of fall. Live music arts & crafts, fabulous food and Virginia wines highlight this popular event.

 

Oct. 15 - Epicurience Virginia - Ashburn, VA. "The Barn at One Loudoun"  1pm - 7pm.  Held in the East Coast’s premier wine region, Loudoun, Virginia: DC’s Wine Country. It’s where insiders come to savor award-winning wines and seek out noteworthy farm-to-table cuisine. Taste the finest in Virginia wines, meet top tastemakers and master winemakers, sample cuisine prepared by celebrated chefs from around the country.

 

Oct. 15 & 16 - Town Point Wine Festival - Norfolk, VA. Town Point Park.  11am - 5pm.  Join us along the Downtown Norfolk waterfront for one of the state’s largest outdoor wine festivals featuring more than 30 Virginia wineries providing a sampling of wines available for purchase by the glass, bottle or case.  Also enjoy gourmet, made-in-Virginia food items, specialty crafts, and live musical entertainment.


Oct. 22 - Powhatan Festival of the Grape - Powhatan, VA.  11am - 6pm. If you love tasting the best of Virginia wines, enjoying savory food, and listening to the best in live entertainment, all in an enchanting courthouse square, then we hope you will join us for Powhatan’s Festival of the Grape. We are delighted to offer 30 wineries, 100+ quality arts and craft vendors, as well as a variety of live entertainment and a great selection of delicious, regional favorite foods.

 

Nov. 11, 12 & 13 - The Bodacious Bazaar - Hampton, VA. - Fri. & Sat. 10am - 7pm, Sun. 10am - 6pm.  The Bodacious Bazaar is an amazing three day shopping extravaganza and wine festival that is held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in the Hampton, Virginia. Our show is designed to promote talented artists, crafters, local businesses and wonderful Virginia wineries at an extraordinary venue. Our show donates a percentage of its net to chosen non-profits each show. The fall show has 350 quality vendors, it is just the place to find the perfect unique and quality Christmas gift.
